Our church celebrates old Christian traditions and I have come to love them so much. Ash Wednesday represents the start of Lent and the 40 days of preparation and fasting until Easter(the biggest celebration disciples can have). These ashes mark the foreheads of the faithful in the shape of a cross while hearing Genensis 3:19 "Remember that thou art dust, and to dust thou shalt return".
Its time for reflection, quiet and getting my priortities in check. There will be much time spent taking a deeper look into my life and heart this season.
