I always feel like a new blog post must have been the result of an epic night or event but this is just a life update, which I beleive should absolutely be celebrated and journaled! It has been a good week! Trinity softball has started, something I believe my sweet husband lives for and I am loving this league too. Hanging out with church folks...Meeting new people and hanging out with our amazing friends! Paul and I have this thing we do when we get in the car and we discuss the best and worst plays of his game (something he of course came up with so that I would watch and not chat the whole time haha) I love this time though because one of his love languages is words of affirmation and he just lights up when I tell him that he was 2 for 3 and that my favorite play was his line drive double in the 5th inning or how he really needs to work on not hitting pop-ups! I don't even really know the "terms" but I am learning and he is a great teacher. This exact time last year was also the first time I met Carly! She and I were the supporting wives on the bleachers and so our connection was made! Paul was saying isnt it crazy that a year ago we did not know them and now we experiencing life together. The ups and downs, the stressful times and the exciting new times and we have also gained other friendships through them by joining our AWESOME small group! We are so blessed! I read this on a blog I follow and so I decided to do it...5 things I feel like I am most blessed with during this season in my life.
1.My marriage! He is so great and also we laugh SO much together!i love laughing!
2.Our friends(new and old)! They are amazing! supportive and some of the most genuine people.
3.Softball! I love that our church has over 200 softball players. We love Trinity and all of the people we are in community with!
4.Summer! I love laying out and running in our neighborhood...
5.Change. This is such a transitional time in our lives but we are trusting God. Praying for His guidance and staying committed to Him and His desires for our lives!
Like I said, we are so blessed!
